Heavy Metals and Minerals Testing

We scan 44 Elements (21 minerals, 16 heavy metals, and Vitamins A, B6, B9, B12, C, D, E). The test is immediate and is non-invasive, measuring the intracellular uptake of the elements.

How the OligoScan works

 

The OligoScan utilises Spectrophotometry, an instrument that measures the amount of light emitted by a light source. In this case the light is reflected from the skin, which determines the concentration of minerals and toxic elements in the underlying tissues. From one sample, the OligoScan is able to determine the presence of minerals and toxic elements being mobilized in the tissues of the individual. 

Because each mineral has a different wave length of light, Spectrophotometry works by calculating the amount of light absorbed or reflected at a given wave length.

Using the hand cradle, four different areas of skin are measured from the hand to assess the status of minerals and toxic elements currently present in the tissues.
